Frequently Asked Questions 1. How do I start?
We start with a conversation to determine if it is a fit for us to work together. You choose the program which best meets your needs. We arrange payment and scheduling right there on the phone call (yes, I accept Visa), and I send you a receipt confirming the program you’ve chosen. Sessions are scheduled for the same day and time for consecutive weeks. 2. What do I need to do? What do you do? You email me the completed Intake and Agreement forms and a current photo of your animal 48 hours before the scheduled session. You let your animal know that you have asked me to contact her/him, when and why. Then at the scheduled time I will connect with your animal, at a distance. You don’t have to be there. If you or others are present please do not engage with your animal unless they initiate it. I will check in with your animal, ask some questions, and then ask him/her your questions. After the session I will email you a link to the recording of the session. The next sessions depend on what emerges in the first session. All three of us (you, me and your animal) may meet over the phone for subsequent sessions which may include energy work, home strategies and coaching for you. Home visits are available. Additional travel fees apply. 3. Do I need to bring my animal to you? Do you come to the home? The first session is done with me “reading on” your animal from my home with just me and your animal. I work at a distance with animals in different parts of the country and the world, so we can do all our work at a distance if you choose. I do make home visits. Travel fees apply. 4. Why does the first session need to be at a distance? I have found that doing it that way is more effective. If I come to your home and your animal doesn’t know me they are preoccupied with figuring out my smell, who I am, how I position with family members, what is my role, how are they supposed to fit me into their world? The physical senses in animals are highly developed and deeply influence their reality at any given moment. When you let them know that you want me to connect with them and I show up energetically that does not disrupt their day to day life or most times, their work/jobs. 5. How does it work at a distance? Since I am receiving information from your animals through the “energy of the knowing field,” distance and time are not an issue. If they send me an image of their favorite food, it doesn’t matter whether I am 2 feet or 2 miles away since it is travelling on energy waves. 6. How long does a session last? You can plan on about an hour. Initial intake will often take longer. I was at my wits end since our cats would not stop spraying all over the house. As much as it broke my heart I even considered rehoming them. I signed up for several sessions with Lesia for my cats and it has been life changing for me to understand their role in my life and mine in theirs. It has enhanced our relations with the cats and has given me a better sense of appreciation for them. Our home is much more relaxed again. “ D. S. Lansing, MI 7. Will it work for behavior issues? Yes. Sessions provide information on what is going on for your animals from their perspective. We discover the roots of their behaviors and underlying needs, which then allows me to provide you with support through energy work, reframing, and home strategies that address the situation to satisfy both your needs and your animal’s needs. 8. Will it work for health issues? It is important that your animal is under veterinary care. As soon as you notice your animal in distress, ill or wounded bring them in to your veterinarian. What we can address in the sessions is to discover what your animal is experiencing, feeling and in what part of their body. Once we know that, it can be useful to bring that information to your veterinarian for possible further exploration. In conjunction with veterinary care I can support your animal through energy work. This helps to clear, balance and align the system for self-healing. 9. When I complete a program, may I renew and do another one? Yes, you can choose any program you wish 10. What happens if I disagree with the information that you get? No one is 100 % accurate – not medical doctors, not intuitives, not your stock broker. Past clients tell me that I am highly accurate, but the final discernment is up to you. You will feel a sense of rightness about things I say, and if there is something that doesn’t make sense to you at the time of the session, put it aside. Sometimes at a future time it will suddenly make sense, so keep an open mind, and know that your animal really wants to communicate with you. Although some part of the information may not resonate at the moment, there is usually truth in it. Sometimes the animal may be hesitant. Sometimes there is a piece of information that the owner forgets to share, which shows up at a later date “Our dog Toby was attacked on 5 separate occasions. We wanted to understand why the attacks kept occurring and break the pattern of attacks. Are fees refundable? Session fees are non-refundable. If you feel hesitant about the session, perhaps it is not the right time for you. 12. What are your fees? My programs include healing for the animal, consultation for the owner, and coaching support. My fees range from $175 for the smallest program to $1200 for larger programs. Specials may apply. |
